RCD

Residual Current Devices

Our Residual Current Devices are the mainstay of our circuit protection range here at LED Controls. Each of the RCDs we offer has been designed to strict safety standards. This ensures that they’re able to react immediately if they detect a fault in your system, switching off the electricity within as little as 30 milliseconds, mitigating the risk of painful and potentially even fatal electric shocks.

Our RCDs see widespread use across numerous commercial and industrial applications, used to protect workers and visitors while at the same time providing some measure of protection against electrical fires. They play a particularly valuable role in areas where any improvement or maintenance works might be being carried out, capable of cutting the power almost instantaneously if any live wires or cables are accidentally severed.

We provide Residual Current Devices from a number of leading manufacturers such as ABB and Chint, both of whom have global reputations for the safety and reliability of their products. The extensive nature of our range gives you plenty of freedom to find the best one that’s individually suited to your specific application or environment.
