As part of the stocked electrical enclosures here at LED Controls the Gewiss plastic junction box GW44221 has a deep four-point screw lid with the internal dimensions of 460mm long, 380mm wide and 180mm deep.

The screws securing the lid to the body of the junction box are easily accessible with a flat head screwdriver to make securing it a quick and easy process.

It has smooth plane walls on the inside and out except for the back of the enclosure which features pre-manufactured fitting points where a galvanized metal backing plate can be easily fitted.

These junction boxes are in the grey color code RAL7035 and an IP rating of IP56 so they are waterproof up to a certain degree and can be fitted outdoors for long periods of time.

The mounting points for this enclosure have been manufactured in the form of four small holes approximately 8mm in diameter near to each corner of the external back face of the junction box so these would need to be pushed out with a screw driver so it can be mounted at these four points.

The lid of the junction box is stamped with the part number and IP rating.
